Job description:

Contract Position Qualifications

  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • 5+ years of Manufacturing and Project Management experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Must be proficient with MS Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD is preferred

IET Engineering Position Description

  • Provide project management support by meeting with vendors and working with internal support staff.
  • Oversee the process of new equipment installation and ensure proper installation.
  • Collect and analyze production data to measure productivity, efficiency, labor utilization, and workflow performance
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify delays, determine standard work times, and support labor standards development
  • Assist in process mapping and workflow documentation, creating diagrams, SOPs, and visual work instructions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and process optimization activities
  • Help develop and update work standards, including method sheets, job breakdowns, and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement
  • Support quality and safety initiatives by collecting defect data, observing workstation ergonomics, and identifying potential issues
  • Prepare reports and documentation, summarizing observations, improvement opportunities, and study results for engineers and supervisors
  • Coordinate with operators and supervisors, communicating findings, gathering feedback, and ensuring accurate implementation of improvements
