About The Role

We are looking for a driven and empathetic Career & Academic Strategist to anchor our Gurugram chapter. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys autonomy, and wants to shape both the growth of students and the future of education.

We are building alcovia to become the World's First Ambition Building Program.

You are the custodian of everything Alcovia does for the Alcovians, across the full year. One person owns that relationship end to end: the academics, the ambition, the wellbeing, and the parents behind it. Nothing gets handed off.

You will also help build the advisory model itself. This is a 0-to-1 team, so the frameworks you design for your own Alcovians become the ones we scale.

The ideal candidate is an experienced educator or advisor with an international education background, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine passion for student growth, mentorship and scalable developmental frameworks.

What You Will Do?

Personal Guidance

• Design year-long, personalised roadmaps aligned to each student’s academic and personal goals.
• Help students brainstorm startup ideas, secure internship projects, unlock impact projects, and support them through coveted competitions.
• Lead and monitor monthly milestones, track progress, and give actionable feedback that keeps students motivated and accountable.
• Recommend lifestyle changes based on their fitness and sleep data.
• Help students run their lives on a Google Calendar so they move with higher and better intent day to day.
• Provide holistic wellbeing support, fostering resilience, self-care habits, and a safe, trusting environment.

Skill and Career Development

• Build critical 21st-century skills such as communication, leadership and collaboration, through one-on-one sessions.
• Track those skills across the workshops and professional conversations the Alcovia programme enables.
• Facilitate exposure to diverse career pathways by connecting students to internships, competitions, workshops and mentors.

Parent and Community Engagement

• Serve as a trusted liaison with parents, providing updates, feedback and strategic guidance.
• Lead and conduct monthly feedback reviews for the programme, and pass findings to the relevant stakeholders to improve it.

Academic Support

• Analyse past academic performance to identify strengths, gaps and areas for improvement, then build student-specific strategies to study better, recall faster and work more effectively.
• Track syllabus completion, set realistic goals, and provide strategies that keep students on track to achieve their best.
• Guide students through the IB/IGCSE curricula and support informed decision-making on academic pathways.

Personal Branding Charter

• Oversee personal brand charter fulfillment, month on month, for onboarded students.
• Guide students on content strategy so they stay engaged with building a personal brand throughout the year.

Programme Innovation and Growth

• Contribute to developing and scaling Alcovia’s advisory framework by experimenting, iterating and implementing best practices.
• Lead initiatives independently, taking ideas from concept to execution and driving measurable impact.
  
  

Who You Are?

• Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree (preferred) from a Top 50 global university (e.g. Harvard, Imperial, McGill, UCL, NUS, UToronto).
• 4+ years of proven success in education consulting, K–12 settings, curriculum or learning design, or other student-facing advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of IB / IGCSE curricula and international education pathways.
• An exceptional communicator who builds trust easily with both students and parents.
• A strategic, student-first thinker with a passion for mentorship, coaching and teen development.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, operate with autonomy, and translate ideas into scalable solutions.
• A background in psychology, education or cognitive sciences is a plus.
