Background

I am currently an assistant director of corporate relations at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, an independent organization that provides insight on critical global issues through in-person programming, independent research, and digital resources. I manage a portfolio of global companies by designing and implementing collaborative, tailored partnerships. I love the cross-sector nature of this work, growing my understanding about how the private sector confronts global issues, and using data to understand where we have potential to grow. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan in International Studies (Political Economics and Development) and Spanish. With a regional focus on Latin America, I studied and interned abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am actively looking to apply my professional and academic experience to a career in international development, and moving outside of a fundraising role. Fields that interest me include economic development, sustainable business, private sector development, and food security and agriculture. I am a dual citizen in U.S. and Costa Rica, and would love to gain work experience in Costa Rica.

Acts as primary point of contact for corporate partners’ employees including the c-suite, mid-level, and young professionals, and liaises regularly with all to understand their business priorities and partnership objectives, and effectively promotes relevant content to their role and industry. Leads data reporting and dashboarding in Salesforce for the Development department to track progress to fundraising goals.
