Recently graduated with a Masters of Social Work from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She seeks to support access to mental health care services for low-income folx and folx of color. She plans to use her bilingual skills and bicultural experiences to support her clients. She previously completed an MA in Spanish at Loyola University Chicago. She completed her undergraduate degree at Lewis & Clark College (LC) in Portland, Oregon with a BA in History and Hispanic Studies with a minor in Latin American Studies. In her education, Sharon sought to connect her bilingual skills and her passion for history via an interdisciplinary curriculum with a focus in Latin American History. In order to apply the knowledge and valuable skills she developed during her time at higher education institutions, she has created culturally-adaptable worksheets and resources for her patients.
