Background

I'm a builder. Always have been. Systems engineering at Michigan, problem decomposition at McKinsey, then first executive hire at a proptech startup where I built the product, ran ops, and took it through an acquisition. I wasn't the founder. I was the person doing everything. Every stop taught me the same lesson: the hardest problem is never the technology. It's getting people to actually change how they work. Now I run Open Tee, where I help mid-market companies ($5-50M) adopt AI by building the tools and training the people myself. Construction, dental, trades, service businesses. The companies too big to wing it, too small for big firms like McKinsey. I speak both languages. I can talk strategy with a CEO at breakfast and build the software their field leader uses by lunch. I also have taste. I care about how things look and feel, not just whether they function.
