As a librarian and patient education specialist, I have over 10 years of experience in assessing, writing, and editing evidence-based health content for diverse audiences and channels. I have a master's degrees in information science and public health, as well as a certification in public health.
In my current role as content manager for Alight's Healthcare Navigation solutions, I collaborate with a skilled team of researchers, physicians, nurses, and subject matter experts to create, purchase, review, and catalog patient education materials that adhere to plain language, reading level, and accessibility criteria. I also perform research and produce evidence summaries to support marketing, sales, and executive leadership requests. I am passionate about empowering consumers to make informed health decisions and improving health outcomes through quality information and communication.
