Julia Campbell
Environmental/Climate Data Analyst and Modeler
Forest Carbon Modeling and Data Analysis Intern at Earthshot Labs
Background
I recently completed a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan, with a focus on climate modeling, carbon sequestration, ecological change, and the hydrological cycle. I earned a Computational Discovery and Engineering Graduate Certificate and a Science Communication Certificate, showcasing a commitment to interdisciplinary expertise and effective communication. I had the opportunity to gain practical experience during a Data and Modeling internship at Earthshot Labs, where dynamic climate and vegetation models were applied to study climate resilience and carbon sequestration. I aspire to contribute meaningfully to the carbon dioxide removal (CDR), conservation, climate tech, or environmental science sectors by combining technical writing, programming, and advanced research skills.
