Seok Jin Lee
Master's student in Applied Math at the University of Chicago
Background
Hi, I'm Seok Jin. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. majoring in Honors Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. I loved my time in Ann Arbor, with its quaint college town vibe, and felt the university made me a richer person. After graduating, I moved onto the University of Chicago to do a Master's in Computational and Applied Mathematics. I have a very international background as I've lived abroad my whole life (am a South Korean citizen) across multiple countries, so I have no qualms about relocating to almost anywhere. I love problem solving, which is why I love math, and it's why I have a hobby of doing math and computer science puzzles. I speak English, Korean, and Japanese fluently or proficiently, though I am very rusty on my Japanese reading and writing due to the amount of Kanji I have to remember. I'm currently looking for a job.
